July Thursday Night online Watercolor Classes 4 Weeks
“As always, Alisha has a knack for nurturing the artist in every person. Her encouragement makes it easy to do the hardest thing --make that first mark on the daunting blank page. She doesn't over teach, but leaves space for students to explore and problem-solve. She also has the knowledge and experience to answer how-tos and instruct everyone in the tricks of the trade that improve and enhance our works. Everyone leaves feeling more capable than when they arrived.” -Lacey Grim
Join Alisha on Zoom for 4 watercolor classes
When: 4 Thursdays 7-8:30 pm EST
July 11th, 18th, 25th, & August 1st
Alisha will provide the instructions and the reference photos. Over 4 weeks we’ll paint an object, an insect/animal, a botanical, and a landscape.
You’ll bring:
Here's a list of the supplies you’ll need to have ready for class:
Arches 140lb cold press watercolor paper 9x12
Watercolor Brush Round 6, Optional a round 2 and a round 12
Watercolor Paints: This is my favorite travel set
Carbon paper for tracing
I use a Butcher Tray for my paint palette but a white plate would also work just fine.
These are not required but you may find over time you want them for outlining: Micron Pens
A note on supplies: These are my favorites. You might have the desire to try to find cheaper paper than the arches listed below, don’t do that. In Watercolor, you can buy cheap paint and cheap paintbrushes but paper quality matters. You can take a very talented watercolor artist and have them paint on cheap paper and it will look like it was painted by a toddler, don’t skimp on the paper.
After you register you’ll receive an email from Alisha within 24-48 hours with a supply list and Zoom link. Be sure to add awielfaert@yokeandabundance.com to your contact list
