Frequently Asked Questions

These are the most common questions I’m asked. If you have additional questions please email me at awielfaert@yokeandabundance.com

How do I purchase an original?

I bring my artistic creations to life in the form of unique collections, which I release on my website several times throughout the year. The details of these releases will be extensively promoted in advance through my social media platforms, blog, and mailing list. As these collections tend to be in high demand, it's important to act promptly to secure your desired piece. You will find the available originals listed right here on my website."

Can I commission a painting?

Absolutely! I’m currently taking commissions on a limited basis. To reserve your spot on my commissions calendar please fill out this form.

How will my Artwork be Shipped?

If shipping of your order costs $10+ more than what you paid at checkout, you will receive an invoice that must be paid before your order is put in the mail. Thank you for your understanding.

All orders are shipped through USPS or UPS first class or priority mail

All packages ship from Greensboro, NC, and are shipped within 5-7 business days of purchase.

All watercolor originals not sold in a frame are packaged in a temporary mat and placed in a clear gloss plastic resealable bag and placed in a bubble-wrapped shipping envelope.

All framed watercolor originals are packaged with cardboard corners, bubble wrapped, and placed in a shipping box.

Shipping costs cover the labor involved in shipping, packaging, and shipping itself.

International Shipping:
All international shipping will go through the USPS International Priority Mail with insurance, 6-10 business days. For international buyers, item costs and shipping fees do not include import duty, taxes, and customs fees. Those charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Can I pick up my artwork from your Studio?

Yes! I would love for you to pick up your piece directly if you’re in the Greensboro, NC area. Email me at awielfaert@yokeandabundance.com to arrange your pick-up.

Returns?

All sales are final unless goods were damaged in transit. If your purchase was damaged in the delivery process please email photographs of the damage to awielfaert@yokeandabundance.com within three business days of delivery.

Disclaimer:

Watercolor Originals can fade over time. I highly recommend archival quality glass when framing your pieces and hanging your original away from direct sunlight.

Who legally owns the artwork?

As the artist, I retain full ownership rights to all the artwork I create including both sold and commissioned original paintings. This encompasses the rights to the images of the artwork. Unless the collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (in addition to acquiring the original), I maintain the right to make reproductions of all and any pieces.

The collector of the buyer is not permitted to reproduce the artwork in any manner without obtaining written permission. However, if the artwork happens to be featured in a magazine or other media, I kindly request credit for the piece.

When you acquire an original painting, you, as the collector, have the right to display the painting proudly in your home or business. Nevertheless, the painting may not be reproduced without my express written consent.

If you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to the painting, please feel free to let me know. Some collectors opt to acquire the rights to reproduce the artwork, ensuring it’s exclusivity as a unique piece. I’m more than happy to discuss this option.
